Paper straws have always had a generic design printed on them and are in desparate need of a stylistic change. The SipStyx project started as a way to decrease the use of plastic straws that are polluting the environment.
Bio-degradeable paper straws are dissolved within 90 days as opposed to a plastic straw which can take 30 years to completely dissolve. That’s just one plastic straw! They are littered throughout nature and are harming animals which can be prevented by the use of a paper straw.
